This teenager took a selfie every day for seven years
MEET HUGO CORNELLIER. He was taking selfies before they were mainstream.
Between the ages of twelve and nineteen, he took a self-portrait every day. Now he’s compiled seven years worth of selfies into one ninety-second video that captures the transition from childhood to young adulthood with all the haircuts and facial hair growth in between.
His surrounds change, but his serious gaze never does.
It’s basically the TL;DR version of Boyhood.
Back in 2011, Cornellier wrote of his intention to keep the project going.
Intense.
